STATE OF EMERGENCY DECLARATION
The national government has declared a state of emergency in Ibaraki Prefecture until September 12
! Since there is a shortage of hospital beds, those who need hospital care cannot receive it.
! Some people infected with the COVID-19 had no option but to treat symptoms at home, and some have died without medical help.
! This situation that should never happen is actually happening.
▶ Please reduce the risk of infection and protect yourself, your family, your loved ones.

What to do if you have a fever and feel sick
Early detection protects everybody from spreading infections!

Household transmissions are on the rise
Even if you are already vaccinated, don't let your guard down yet!
You can pass the virus to your family members without even knowing that you have been infected.
Please make sure to take thorough preventive measures not only when going out but also at home.
- Wear a mask at home
If you feel unwell or it is impossible to maintain distance at home, please wear a mask.
- Ventilate with outside air regularly
Make it a habit to ventilate rooms frequently. It is more effective to open windows on opposite sides of your home.
- Disinfect things
Sanitize high-touch surfaces (doorknobs, handrailings, switches, etc.), common areas (including bathroom and toilet surfaces).
- Dispose of waste carefully
Dispose of used tissues and masks in a closed plastic bag. Avoid touching waste with bare hands.
- Disinfect the entrance area to avoid bringing in viruses
Wash your hands every time you come back home, before eating, after using the restroom, etc. (wash, wipe, disinfect).
- Avoid talking loudly and at a close distance
Reduce the risk of droplet transmission.
- Avoid sharing things
Avoid sharing food, drinks, and tableware. Everyone should have their own towel, toothpaste, and other personal items.

PCR testing for those who live, work or study in Kasama.
