Booster vaccinations (3rd and 4th doses) are currently offered at the Ibaraki Large-Scale Vaccination Site in Mito City.

Reservations for the July vaccinations will begin on June 20 (Mon) at 9:30 am.

3rd Dose
Kasama city permanent residents aged 18+, who received* their Vaccination Voucher (接種券, sesshuken)
*About 5 months after getting vaccinated for the 2nd time
4th Dose
Kasama city permanent residents, about 5 months after getting vaccinated for the 3rd time
■ Group 1: Persons aged 60+
※Vaccination Vouchers will be sent out gradually 5 months after their 3rd vaccination has been completed
■ Group 2: Persons aged 18-60 who
・have an underlying medical condition
・have a medical confirmation that they are at risk of developing serious illness from Covid-19
※Vaccination Vouchers will be sent by mail upon request

How to make a Vaccination Appointment

When you get your vaccine
- Please bring:
- Vaccination Voucher (接種券, sesshuken) with your Prevaccination Screening Questionnaire (予診票, yoshin hyo) *Please fill in the Questionnaire in advance
- Personal I.D. (residence card, my number card, insurance certificate, driver's license, etc.)
- Prescription Record Book (お薬手帳, okusuri techo) if you are taking any medications
- Please note:
- Please wear clothes (t-shirt, etc.) that ensure easy access to your upper arm and shoulder. The injection site is the arm (near the shoulder).
- Please manage your transfer to the vaccination site yourself.
ATTENTION:
! If you have a fever (37.5 ℃/99.5 °F) on the day of vaccination, you cannot get a shot.

Vaccination Cancellation in Case of a Natural Disaster
Vaccinations at the Ibaraki Large-Scale Vaccination Site may be canceled in case an earthquake, typhoon, flood, or other disaster has occurred or is expected to occur.
